Step 2. Click on “Digital Cards”
Step 3. To import card data, click on “Import” under Import Data.
Step 4. Click on “Upload CSV/TSV” button below and choose an appropriate file from your computer.
What to include in your file?
Custom Card ID – A unique card ID used to identify each card data on the system. This won’t be displayed on the card.
User Identity Reference – Security Question 1 to verify user identity before creating a card. For example, email address or ID number. This won’t be displayed on the card.
Authorization – Security Question 2 to verify user identity before creating a card. For example, date of birth or last 4 digits of SSN. This won’t be displayed on the card.
Barcode Value – A value that will be displayed in the Barcode. This is usually employee/student/member ID number or can be anything you want to be able to scan to recognize the user.
User Data – Name, Title, Email, etc. You can add any data you’d like to be displayed on the card. Just make sure that the fields you want to be displayed on the card are added to the card template.
Step 5. Map the columns from the data file to the card fields (refer to card template) and Click on “Import Card Data” to finalize your data import.
Note: Check the box “Skip the first row when importing the Card Data File” if the first row in your file is made up of column headers (Custom Card ID, Name, Title, etc.).
