INTEGRATION
Webhooks
for ID Card Management
Connect the ID123 ID Management System (IDMS) to the tools you already use to take the manual work out of your card management process. Webhooks can notify your external systems of card, scan, print, and moderation events the moment they happen, and let your systems create, update, print, and message cards in the IDMS without manual work.
Potential Automations For Your Team…
Attendance Tracking
Card scans can automatically create an attendance record in your SIS, LMS, or HR system, such as class attendance, shift clock-ins, or event check-ins.
Scan-triggered Workflows
A card scan in ID123’s Barcode Scanner can kick off a workflow in another system, like adding loyalty points, recording a visitor sign-in, or alerting staff when a flagged card is presented.
Onboarding
Create cards for new students, employees, or members in the IDMS as soon as they are added to your SIS, HRIS, or CRM.
Replacement Card Printing
Automatically print physical cards from the IDMS or a connected card printing integration when a card is flagged as lost or stolen, or its details change in another system.back so help desks know when a card ships.
Status and Account Alerts
Alerts or status changes in your SIS, HR, or club management system, such as a “Library hold ready for pickup” can automatically trigger in-app messages to be sent to the cardholder via the Digital ID Card App.
Keeping ID Photos in Sync
When a submitted card photo is approved as part of ID123’s card moderation process, the cardholder’s record in your SIS can be updated with the new photo.
How It Works…
STEP 1
WEBHOOK TYPE
Choose between an action or trigger and select which events should trigger the webhook or which action should be performed in the IDMS.
STEP 2
DATA MAPPING
Map the ID123 fields to your system’s fields and select what data to include in your webhook payload.
STEP 3
AUTHORIZATION
Optionally add an authorization header to choose how to verify webhook requests both to and from the IDMS.
