Use this guide to retrieve your API Key from your HID Fargo Connect (HFC) account. This information is needed to configure the integration connection to HFC from the ID Management System.

Step 1. Login to HFC
Login to your HFC Admin portal, navigate to your user profile and select the “API Accounts” option from the dropdown selection in the top right corner.
Step 2. Add New API Account
On the API Accounts page click the “Add New” button.
Step 3. Enter API Account Details
In the Add New API Account page, enter the required information to create a new API account. When you are done click “Save”.
Step 4. View API Account
Once you successfully create an API Account click the “Edit” button under your desired API account to view the API account information.
Step 5. Copy API Key
In the Edit API Account Information, click the “View Key” button to view the account’s API key. Copy the API key and paste it into the ID Management System.
